Our Mission

The Fastpitch Fia Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Sofia Brielle’ Bennett-Tidwell, a remarkable young athlete whose kindness, humility, and love for softball left a lasting impact on her teammates, family, and community.

Sofia played the game with heart, compassion, and quiet strength. The foundation was created to ensure that her spirit continues to inspire opportunities for other young girls who share the same passion for the sport she loved.

What We Believe

We believe every young athlete deserves the opportunity to participate in competitive sports regardless of financial circumstance. Athletics build more than skills on the field — they develop confidence, leadership, resilience, and lifelong character.

For many families, however, the rising costs of travel ball, equipment, training, and tournament participation create barriers that prevent talented athletes from continuing their journey. The Fastpitch Fia Foundation exists to help remove those barriers.

Our Purpose

Our mission is to invest in the future of young female softball players by providing:

  • Scholarships supporting athletes pursuing collegiate opportunities

  • Financial assistance and grants for participation in competitive softball

  • Equipment support for players in need

  • Community programs and partnerships that strengthen local softball organizations

Through these efforts, we aim to empower athletes to pursue their goals with confidence while fostering a culture of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
